Chunky Braided Scarf Knitting Pattern Review

March 16, 2019

Inspired by my sister, who wanted a scarf with an opening that would allow her to put one end through it, this chunky braided scarf knitting pattern is a wonderful free pattern by Susan B Anderson, you can download from Ravelry.com.

Materials I used:

  • 2 skeins of Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick Yarn in Colorway Fig
  • 1 set US Size 15 Double Pointed Knitting Needles for braids
  • Size 15 Circular Knitting Needles for ribbing in between

This is such a fun and simple pattern! It’s one I can easily remember. My version is slightly different from Susan’s but that’s because I was using different needles and different yarn.

You can also find the free pattern at Blue Sky Fibers if you aren’t a Ravelry.com member.

Check it out!
