Did you know you can easily make your own hand sanitizer? All-natural, effective and easy on the hands, this awesome recipe comes from Cassie Johnston over at Wholefully.com.
To make it easy I’ve included affiliate links here to the exact items I used.
What I used
- 2-ounce spray bottle from Amazon.com
- 5 drops Vitamin E oil
- 2 Tablespoons Witch Hazel
- 5 Drops Lemon Essential Oil
- 5 Drops Orange Essential Oil
- 5 Drops Tea Tea Essential Oil
- Filtered Water (You can also use distilled water)
Instructions
Combine all oils, and witch hazel into a spray bottle. Place sprayer on tightly and shake well for 15-20 seconds to combine.
Open the bottle and fill to the top with water. Replace sprayer and shake again for 15-20 seconds.
I designed my own labels (3″ x 1.75′) using Canva.com – and then printed them at home (8 to a page) using cardstock paper and then with a bit of packing tape stuck them on the bottles.Β I’m sure there are other ways to do this using premade Avery labels, for example, but I was just using what was easier for me.
Super fun and now I have lots of spray bottles to keep in my purse, in the car, next to my computer, and to give to friends and family!
The best part is that I don’t have to worry if all the stores run out of hand sanitizer because now I know how to make my own.
