Muse Shrug Knit Pattern Review
The muse shrug is constructed of a straight stockinette stitch with a border of the wicker stitch. The shrug is versatile and can be work with the border as a collar, or upside down as the bottom edge. You can also wear the shrug as a cowl around your neck!
I met the lovely Petra Breakstone of Yarnz2Go.com at the grand opening of West 7th Wool in Fort Worth. There she was, smiling and eagerly sharing her work with all of us knitting enthusiasts. So I dove into her wares, happily trying on piece after piece. This is the the little number that caught my eye and so became my next project.

I am so glad you like it!
Wear it in good health~
I wish to make “simple knit shrug pattern” but cannot get the gauge 8 stitches to 4inches. Is this a mistake?
Hi Dorothy,
What is the gauge you are getting? What yarn and what size needles are you using?
Marni
Hi Dorothy!
About your gauge. First off, I am a loose knitter which means you may need a much bigger needle then I used. As Marnie mentioned too, make sure your yarn is of the weight used in pattern. You may double up on yarn, use a heavier weight or change needles.
Here is a helpful link regarding gauge:

I hope this helps you~

Thanks Petra! 🙂
